Is it March already?! What's happening at KMGhandmade.

Is it March already?! What's happening at KMGhandmade.

Can you believe how fast this year is going already? It seems like we were just celebrating the holidays and in reality, two months have past and I have been so busy!

In January, I released a free pattern, the Just Fold It In as a Facebook KMGhandmade Bagmakers exclusive and it helped add 800+ members to our community! I have since moved the pdf here to the website so that if there are updates required, everyone who downloaded it here will be notified automatically.

On February 1st came the release of the Aura Envelope Bag. This slim bag can be carried as a crossbody, shoulder, waist pack, wristlet or clutch. It is as flexible as you are creative!

Next up, I released the For Your Cheddar Wallet on March 1st. This is a quick make with a unique card slot, zipper pocket construction. Perfect for production sewing, you can make this a staple for your spring market days.

All of these patterns are part of the "Year of Cheese" Collection in honor of my Wisconsin roots. 😉 They are all geared towards the beginner bag maker and designed to be quick projects. However, not all of my planned releases this year are quick makes.

Next up, I am releasing an intermediate to advanced pattern that will take a little longer to create. It's called the BRIE Mini Messenger Bag. It is with my tester team now to work out all the kinks before the planned release in early April!

I really love this design and hope you will as well. Here is a first look at the Brie, there are a lot of hidden gems inside this beautiful crossbody bag. I can't wait for you to discover them all!

The shop will be taking a shipping break from March 17 - March 27 and will resume shipping on the 28th. PDF Patterns will still be available for automatic delivery but all handmade goods will be put in draft status until I return from holiday.

If you have some awesome Spring Break plans, I hope you enjoy them immensely! I will be road-tripping to Florida with my family for a much needed break. If you will be working on any of my patterns and need some help, don't worry! There are lots of helpful folks on the Facebook group to assist you.

❤️ Kristin
