PDF Pattern and Video Tutorial - The Squoval Bag by KMGhandmade
Finished dimensions of the Squoval Bag are 10" H x 8.5" W x 2" D.
This bag is perfect for everyday use with all your essential gear. It opens up wide to access wallet, keys, sunglasses but also holds them securely in place with a zippered closure. The back has a magnetic closure slip pocket and the front has a vertical zippered pocket, large enough to carry a smartphone and a great place to feature custom zipper pulls or fussy cut fabric prints! The Wellington Wallet pattern is a perfect companion to this bag as it fits perfectly in the interior divided slip pocket to hold your cards and cash!
This pattern is written for enthusiastic beginning sewists that have basic bagmaking fundamental skills. There is a video tutorial available for this pattern if you prefer visual instruction. Michelle Graham from mgrahamsews walks you through every step in a sew-along style format in the order the pattern is written. If you would like to skip ahead you can but you might miss an important tip! If you follow along with her, you can complete this bag in about 2.5 hours. You will still need to purchase the pattern here to get measurements, etc. as she will never refer to them in the videos.

Please note: Acrylic templates have not been approved for commercial sale for this design.
Please do not purchase them from anyone that sells templates of this design as they have not been given permission to do so and both you, and the seller would be in violation of intellectual property laws.
In the event that acrylic templates are approved for any KMGhandmade pattern in the future, the approved seller will be clearly linked on my website, www.kmghandmade.com under the pattern listing description so you know they have been given permission to sell them and that the designer has been fairly compensated for the original design.
If you like making this pattern a lot and would like sturdier templates for personal use, I recommend purchasing the plastic cutting sheets from the dollar store to trace them out. I do this myself, and it is an inexpensive way to save your pattern pieces rather than reprinting paper ones.
