This simple circle bag is anything but basic! The 10.5" diameter makes a perfect template for fabric panels, embroidery, heat-transfer vinyl, quilting or applique. Scared or circles? I was too, that's why I tackled this as my next pattern writing challenge. I wanted to make something that anyone, no matter their bag making skill level would be able to follow and master! In this document, you will find how to make this bag with either a binding closure or birthed. I am all about giving you options.
You will find that the gusset fits like a glove, no matter which closing method you choose.
This pattern is suitable for either domestic or industrial machines, and all types of fabrics. You just need to be mindful of what your machine can handle and keep any interfacing out of the seam allowances.
Finished dimensions are 10.5" Round x 3" Deep.
Interior includes a split slip pocket and zipper pocket. What?! No keyminder, Kristin?! Don't worry, I got you covered there too! I created another pattern for a removeable keyminder specifically for this bag to keep the bulk down in the seams. It's free with the purchase of this pattern and any other paid pattern on this site! Bonus! It's also a pretty cute bracelet or key strap when you run out with just your keys. ;) Already included in the downloadable files.
