The Aura Envelope Bag is a quick project that uses little fabric. The project is suitable for beginning bag makers, and is domestic-friendly. (Depending on the fabrics you choose of course.) It can be carried as a clutch, wristlet, crossbody, waist pack or under jacket bag. It is a skinny little number that carries your essentials. This also features an inside zipper pocket for cash and change, a tethered card-slot wallet for 4 or 8 cards and a key minder. It easily fits a large smartphone. Finished dimensions as written are 8 1/2" W x 7.5" H x <1" D, however, you can choose to increase your width (as shown in black faux leather, last photo) to create a sophisticated clutch/shoulder bag that will hold a bit more. This listing includes the pdf written instructions and photos for the magnetic snap closure Aura Envelope Bag. Video instruction is linked on page 2 and was recorded by Michelle Graham of mgrahamsews. A cutting chart for ruler and rotary users is provided, as well as, full template pattern pieces for those that prefer them. The pdf features the instructions for a magnetic snap closure. The turn-lock closure instructions are available as an add-on pdf, available from Elaine B Honey Designs, linked in the full pattern. You will need both to create a turn lock style of bag.
