About this pattern UPDATE: A Video Tutorial is now available to sew along with Emma Brassfield from Studio7t7! Purchase the pattern, then hop over to YouTube to follow along at your pace, every step is timestamped in the description so you can start/stop as needed. Dimensions: Finish size is 12W x 10H x 3 D The Compass Crossbody was inspired by the fabric on the pattern cover. I wanted something with angles to complement the geometric print of the vinyl I purchased. This bag is what I envisioned. The design is very versatile! You could make it all one fabric or mix it up and do every panel differently to make a fabulous, patched design! It is completely up to you and your creativity. I will include what I used in the supply list to do this in vinyl and batik as shown; as well as a suggested cut list and interfacing suggestions if you choose other fabric options. Later, you will see some examples from my wonderful tester group. I am also including two options for the exterior pockets that gives you some variety in their size. Other options include alternate straps and strap connectors. Go ahead, hack my bag! I would love to see your interpretation. Have fun and happy sewing! This download includes 61 pages of written instruction, full color photos and pattern pieces. I recommend only printing the pattern piece pages and use your laptop or tablet to view the instructions and to be able to zoom in on photos if you wish. This bag pairs perfectly with the Essentials Wallet Clutch designed by one of my pattern testers, Kathy Caudill from K.Dill Handmade. I recommend picking up her pattern as well as it can be made from the scraps left over from your Compass Crossbody Bag. Head on over to her shop, K.Dill Handmade on Etsy to get your copy today!
